It features two Eko pickups in H-H configuration, Volume and Tone controls for each pickup, and a 3-way toggle switch. It features a 42mm nut, 630mm scale length and a 22-fret fingerboard with 14" radius. The VL-480 is available in Black, Honey Burst Flamed, See Thrue Blue Quilted, Gold SParkle and Aged Cherry Sunburst Flamed colours. The sound, as well as the design, is inspired by Gibsonian guitars, thus with a rich, powerful tone and easy saturation.
