The DF12A is an active subwoofer specifically designed for the GS System with a 2-channel built-in amplification module capable of developing a 1360 Watts power, subdivided into 1000 Watts to drive the 12” internal woofer and 360 Watts dedicated to drive up to 8 GS modules, the satellites that complete the FiveO Sound System.
The DF12A is equipped with a DSP that can optimize GS system performances through 3 user-recall presets, one of which is customizable via remote LAN connection. On the rear panel there are two Combo XLR inputs; the first one with mic / line selection, the second one optimized for accepting a HiZ signal such as an acoustic instrument or a line signal; it is also possible to connect an additional audio source to the second input through two RCA stereo connectors.
The signals from the two inputs can be mixed together with the built-in mixer and taken from an XLR output to relay the signal to additional acoustic speakers. A Neutrik NL4 output connector makes it easy to connect power to the GS satellites.
A variable speed fan and a complete set of electronic protections make the DF12A subwoofer a robust and reliable system ideal as low frequency live reinforcement for GS module integration.
The birch plywood construction and the scratch-proof painting, in addition to ergonomic handles and steel grille, without forgetting the compact size and low weight, make the DF12A the ideal partner for the most demanding users.
